Michael Gordon Steen (b. March 5, 1980) is a Georgeland politician, a member of the Georgeland Senate representing the state of East Mainland. At 26, he is presently the youngest member of federal parliament. Steen was appointed to the Senate in 2005 to fill a casual vacancy. He is the youngest ever Senator, though one member of the House of Commons has been elected at a younger age. Steen is also openly homosexual, one of an increasing number of openly gay politicians. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of the United Islands.
