1 a Minute is a docu-drama film directed by Namrata Singh Gujral, an Indo-American actress, and is based around her own life and the lives of other women and their battle with cancer. The film deals a heavy focus on breast cancer. It also features women celebrities from around the world who are cancer survivors. It is scheduled for release on October 6, 2010 in 527 theaters in the USA. The film will be released in India theaters on 29 October, 2010. This is the largest release to date for a cancer docudrama.
