Deputy Supervisor Mezta was a Bakrii official and second in command of a repair facility under Supervisor Vuko in the 24th century. In 2375, she was placed in charge of the repairs to the USS Hudson and USS Saladin and stood with the crews of both ships as they watched reports about the recent Breen attack on Earth. She argued with Vuko when he forced the Starfleet vessels to leave and then mutinied against him by tying him up. She then invited the ships back, hiding them from a Breen patrol and then finishing repairs to the ships. (TOS short story: "Safe Harbors")
