Gabriella Lloyd-Williams was a school friend of Victoria Arden, who brought her to stay at the Rovers during the Easter holidays. Vicky's boyfriend Steve McDonald was put out by Gabriella's presence and together they set her up on a date with Steve's brother Andy. Andy and Gabriella failed to hit it off, and Steve was frustrated when Vicky had to leave to visit Alec Gilroy in Southampton, having barely spent any time with him.
