DD Tauri V was a Thinking Planet, the fifth planet of the DD Tauri star system. By the mid-2270s, a research colony had been set up on the planet. However, when the researchers' conversations turned to whether or not it was sentient, DD Tauri V would generate planetquakes as it was very touchy on the subject. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
