A guardsman was a title used by the Orion civilizations to refer to a quasi-military or police officer role in Orion Colonies. When E. D. Fitzgerald was mugged and robbed, a guardsman chased and caught his attacker. However, he charged a 25 credit fee for the return of his transactor and passport.
