The Honda S2000 is a rear-wheel drive roadster manufactured by Honda from 1999 to 2009. The AP2 is a facelifted model that replaced the AP1 in 2004. The F22C1 engine received a larger stroke that increased displacement to 2.1 litres. The results are a lower peak power rpm of 7800 rpm instead of 8900 rpm, a new maximum torque output of 160 lb-ft and a redline at 8000 rpm. Other major changes that were applied to the S2000 are a refreshed appearance and a revised suspension setup coupled with new tires to increase driving stability.
