The Race::2005 Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 was an ARCA RE/MAX Series event held at Track::Daytona International Speedway on February 12, 2005. It was the season opener. Bobby Gerhart won the race when a spectacular accident and subsequent long red flag prevented the race from being restarted in a reasonable time frame. It was Gerhart's first ARCA win since 2002. Eventual season champ Frank Kimmel was the runner-up.
