Golden Age (1) (黄金時代(1) Ōgon jidai (1)?) is the 9th nonnumerical chapter of the Berserk manga series, written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. This chapter ushers in the Golden Age Arc, which serves as a "flashback" arc that details Guts' origins and the chain of events in his life which led to his hatred of Griffith. This chapter is also the ninth of sixteen chapters that do not go by conventional chapter labeling.
