Helionix is a large Bird Wyvern with mostly bright red plumage along with yellow and orange patterns. Its yellow legs are scaly and end in anisodactyl feet with sharp talons. Its eyes are a sapphire blue color. Long tail feathers form a diamond-shape. It has a head crest that consists of three, darker red rhombus-shaped feathers on its forehead.
