Using the Septim Guardsman while Fifth Legion Trainer, Bruma Armorer and Divine Fervor are active is a good tactic. Since the card costs nothing to place down, you get a free 3/5 guard, which inflicts a significant amount of damage on most cards, while also able to absorb a lot of damage.
