The Manticore is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It is found in the Subterranean Lake. They are rather strong enemies if they attack physically, as they can inflict Petrify in both the DS and iOS versions. Otherwise, they are not very difficult enemies to defeat and can be dealt with in any manner, though Ice-elemental attacks work better. They can use Blizzard on a party member, but it is negligible.
