The Multi-Resistant Shield was Onua Mistika's shoulder-mounted Protosteel Toa Tool, created from the Toa of Earth's Adaptive Armor when Artakha teleported the Nuva to Karda Nui. He could use it to channel his Elemental Earth powers.
