Ranger's Apprentice: The Early Years (sometimes referred to simply as "The Early Years") is a series of books by John Flanagan, which started in 2015, with the first book, The Tournament at Gorlan. The books are planned to be a prequel series to Flanagan's original series, Ranger's Apprentice.
