The Tornado radio controlled toy was a battling robot released at the same time as Sergeant Bash. Tornado could be bought on its own or purchased with the Sergeant Bash toy. Like the Sergeant Bash toy, Tornado came with an immobilising hot spot, hidden under the rear armour. A bump would send the panel off, and if the hot spot was hit three times, the robot would be immobilised. Ironically, unlike Tornado's Pullback toy, this version of Tornado doesn't run inverted at all because the wheels on the top side are plastic and are held in place.
