Marshall Bowen was an hotel owner who lived in San Francisco. He was also a Watcher. During his life he observed four Immortals Duncan MacLeod - 1853 to 1856. Elijah Denton - 1857 to 1869. Catherine Beckett - 1869 to 1878. Kit O'Brady - 1879 to 1888. In 1888 he boarded the steamship, Bearing Strait, en route to Alaska, where his subject, Kit O'Brady was intent on trying his luck. The ship went down with all hands on October 25th. Bowen was scheduled to retire upon his return, instead, the chapel bells were rung in memory of his 35 years dedicated service.
