Construction of the Triumph was completed on reference stardate 2/1509, in the latter part of the 2270s decade. This vessel was commissioned at one of the the shipyards that produced Reliant-class vessels, either Morena Shipyards, Sol IV Fleet Yards or Salazaar Shipyards. (FASA RPG module: Federation Ship Recognition Manual) Triumph was missing and presumed lost by stardate 2/1706 when it failed to transmit a scheduled report.
