Bergmont is a bounty hunter who inhabits the earliest stages of the grand line, and an arrogant sword wielder commonly known as the Duelist. He participated in Thorstein Weiss's combat tournament, and was the first finalist to be decided, as well as defeating the most opponents out of all the contestants.
