Built in 1964, it is currently the third oldest ballpark in the league still in use, and nicknamed as the Ping-Pong Table for having the smallest outfield dimensions among Korean professional ballparks. The ballpark underwent a large scale renovation with capacity expansion from 2011 winter to 2012 spring. After the renovation, the ballpark currently has a capacity of 14,133.
