The Chilean Presidential election of 1994 was held on January 16, 1994, with a potential second round of voting scheduled for February 13. Arturo Alessandri Besa of the National Party emerged victorious against five opponents in the first round, the only President since the electoral terms of the 1990 Constitution were agreed upon to win an election on the first ballot, and earning both the highest percentage of votes (53.4%) and the highest total number of votes.
