Alaric Kend-Zast was the male Doloy owner of the Miner's Daughter in 109 ABY. Having come to Vedros IV shortly after the Great Liberation with an eye toward work in the tibanna mining operations in nearby Vedros, Alaric only managed to find work as a supervisor in a local processing office. He married a fellow Doloy who was on the plant's staff but, discontent with his work, decided to go into business for himself. The spouses opened the Miner's Daughter in 105 ABY.
