Basilia is a poison which acts swiftly when injected into the bloodstream. It was often placed on the tip of a knife or sword. Basilia was nearly invisible to the naked eye, and was a favorite with many professional assassins in the Imperium, though its use depended usually on some context where the rules of hand-to-hand combat would apply.
