The M17 Anti-Matériel Scout Rifle System (known colloquially as the M17-AM Sniper Rifle) was a bolt action sniper rifle utilized by the United Nations Space Command Defense Force, among other organizations, drying the Second Human Civil War and Second Great War. The B-variant of the M17 featured one major change: a semi-automatic firing mechanism. This would prove to be more useful for the more mobile and versatile designated marksmen. This primary change was accommodated by various others.
