The Invisible Bridge at the Charmbridge Academy experienced a catastrophic failure in September of 2007. The sudden disappearance of the Bridge occurred while sixth-graders Alexandra Quick and David Washington were attempting to cross, causing them to plummet toward the valley floor half-a-mile below.
