Ensign Phil Wallace was a command division Starfleet officer who served aboard the USS Pegasus under Captain Erik Pressman during the late 2350s. He was one of seventy-one crewmembers killed during the illegal testing of an experimental phasing cloaking device in 2358. In 2370, Commander William Riker, who had been one of the survivors of the Pegasus, would recall that he was a "hell of a handball player", and was seriously considered for a promotion, shortly before his death. (ENT: "These Are the Voyages...") Ensign Wallace was played by producer Rick Berman's assistant, Doug Mirabello.
