Deviate Adders are hostile level 18-19 elite serpents found in the Wailing Caverns. Adventurers seek them out for their Deviate Hides, which Nalpak uses to make leather goods. They also drop Deviate Scales and Perfect Deviate Scales of use to leatherworkers. These serpents spend their day slithering through the cavern's debri, seeking an easy meal. Travellers must be very aware about the beast's ferocity and location. Its flat, sail-like upper body is used to make the creature seem much larger and intimidating to potential predators.
