It lives in the Antarctic Ground and is quite peaceful. It is bigger than the smaller of its breed, the Ray (Minion) but not approximately as big as the Rays bred for fighting huge monsters on the sea. Its back is colored black, the belly light blue. It has patterns on its fins that start to shine white when enraged. It can speak but not very good. It often helps hunter at hunting by attacking the enemy. It can be ridden by another Lynian. Sometimes there are many monsters riding on it. When Melynxes ride it they can get very dangerous for hunters and other creatures. That's why sometimes there are quest with this one as goal. The weakness is wind, then ice. It feeds of smaller monsters.
