In 1989, pattern-maker Simplicity released two pattern sets for Muppet Babies Halloween costumes. One set made Baby Piggy and Baby Kermit costumes. The costumes featured a hooded design, and showed Baby Piggy in a frilly dress and Baby Kermit in his sailor suit. Included were instructions for how to make matching foot coverings and decorated Baby Kermit and Baby Piggy pumpkins for collecting candy. The pattern number was S 9346. The other set made Baby Fozzie, Baby Gonzo and Baby Animal costumes.
