Aquaman (Volume 2) was a four-issue limited series which pitted the title character Aquaman against his nemesis, the Ocean Master. Ocean Master's plot required gathering the ancient Zodiac Crystals in his quest for ultimate power. The series also introduced a new element of Atlantean culture in the form of the Tuatha De Danann of Thierna Na Oge.
