Gerunes, also known as Sandmen, are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Creatures made out of sand, they can only be defeated by being turned into stone with the Sand Wand. When this happens, Link can pick them up and throw them to deal damage, or strike them with his sword; he must strike a Gerune three times before the Sand Wand's effect wears off to defeat it. Link can also place Gerunes on switches to hold them down. Whenever Link uses the Sand Wand, Gerunes attempt to flee from its cursor. This article is a stub.
