Erik Jon Spoelstra is an American professional basketball coach who is currnetly head coach for the Miami Heat of the NBA. He is a 3 time NBA champion with one a assistant coach in 2006 and the other two as head coach, coaching the Heat to two back-to-back NBA championships in 2012 & 2013. He is the son of former sports marketer and NBA executive Jon Spoelstra. Spoelstra played college basketball at University of Portland.
