Fumita was a magician of the Assembly on Kelewan. He was the father of Hokanu but because of the edict on magician whereby they must foreswear their familial ties he could not acknowledge him as his son and gave him to his brother, Kamatsu of the Shinzawai. He came into his power later in life.
