Shujumi is a recruit who joins Mobile Infantry at the same time with Juan Rico. Shujumi is an expert martial artist, and is equal to Sergeant Zim in hand-to-hand combat. Before he even finishes boot camp, he is promoted to Instuctor-Corporal. He taught judo at Camp Arthur Currie. His father was a famous Colonel in the Federal military and trained Charles Zim.
