Mowlag was a searat, and a first mate in the crew of the Greenshroud. He was originally one of Razzid Wearat's spies, and was one of the few creatures allowed to see the Wearat while he was injured. After Razzid sentenced Dirgo to be eaten by a pike, Mowlag switched sides and began to plan a mutiny with Shekra, Wigsul, and Jiboree. He and Jiboree were slain in the battle for Redwall Abbey by Skor Axehound and Rake Nightfur.
