The Riseans were a race or group of unknown origin known for making fine tapestries. Quark had a collection of Risean tapestries. In 2373, he attempted to interest the visiting Arissa in them, with little success. (DS9: "A Simple Investigation") It is entirely possible that Riseans and Risians are the same - the script for the episode used the spelling "Risean," which sounds similar to but is different than the name of the inhabitants of Risa.
