From a young age, Kereshna had always been enthralled by her father's stories of his time in the Stormwind Guard -- the patrols, the occasional odd people he'd meet, the battles he'd fought when he'd been "borrowed" by the Alliance army -- that sort of thing. By the time she was 16, she'd decided she was going to follow in her father's footsteps, and started learning how to ride a horse and wield a sword. She spent close to two years honing her skills, and while she hadn't become a master by any stretch, she felt more than ready for Guard duty. Which meant, of course, that something was due to get in her way ....
