Frances Bay was a Canadian-American character actress, usually known for her grandmotherly roles. She worked with David Lynch on four productions, which were Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart, Twin Peaks, and Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, the latter two productions in which she played Mrs. Tremond.
