Galactic Monopoly is the name apocryphally given to a board game which appeared to have some similarities with the archaic Earth game Monopoly. Territories included penal colonies and Space City. Players could construct hotels as in the older game, but also spacecraft. The game appeared to be more strategic than its forebear, with victory sometimes being predictable many moves ahead.
