The Giant possum is the largest possum on earth, about the size of a saltwater crocodile, hence its name. It is an omnivore. It feeds on insects, fish, frogs, lizards, small marsupials, small rodents, carrion, leaves, and grass. It resembles a rhinoceros, but with a possum head, four-toed feet without hooves, and a long tail. It lives in Australian grasslands and forests.
