Dragon Ball X is a fan-created series that takes place in an altered timeline branching at the very end of Dragon Ball GT. This series, however, has not yet been shown to people the author does not know in person. The series revolves mainly around the main cast of the Dragon Ball series, in addition to a few others. The series ended in a sort of cliffhanger, and was resumed nearly 6 months later under the title Dragon Ball X: REBORN!.
