The Despatch Man at Ingram's Textiles was on duty at the warehouse when Alma Sedgewick arrived to collect cut outs for travel bags on Mike Baldwin's behalf. With no despatch to Baldwin's due, the man sent Alma away empty-handed. A short time later, Mike pulled up outside the warehouse in his Jaguar to deal with the matter himself, but the impatient man only repeated what he'd said to Alma, forcing Mike to seek out Peter Ingram to find out what was going on. Unbeknown to Mike, his machinists had formed a co-operative and reached an agreement with Ingram to make up the travel bags for less money.
