Douglas Pocock (also credited as Doug Pocock) was credited as the Marketing Manager for Sonic the Comic from Issue 113 (although he may have been in this position before then), and is therefore responsible for the decision to replace new material in the comic with reprints. In Issue 185, Pocock was "promoted" to Marketing Director and remained in this position until at least Issue 194. Pocock's name was not one of those credited in Issue 223, so may have left at some point prior to this.
