Jarred and Endon were born a few years after their sister Anna. He was named after his maternal grandfather, Jarred, now known as Doom. Likewise, Endon was named after King Endon, Doom's best friend and Lief's late father. Doom often visits the palace to watch the young Jarred and Endon play, as it reminds him of his youth in the palace.
