The kilometer per hour, also spelled kilometer-per-hour and its symbol being km/h, was a physical unit of speed or velocity, expressing the number of kilometers traveled in one hour. The Consular-class space cruisers of the Galactic Republic could travel at a speed of 900 km/h, while the Lucrehulk-class freighters of the Trade Federation could only achieve 500 km/h.
