The Rock Gargoyle is an enemy that appears in the Dawn of Souls and all succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy. Its recolor and name reference the Rock Gargoyle enemy from Final Fantasy III. Another enemy that is not too deadly for their occurrence in the game, their real strength comes in groups and their high Magic Defense. The gil and EXP reward is also poor, so it is only recommended to hunt this enemy once for the Bestiary page. The Rock Gargoyle are encountered on the Cavern of Earth 31-39 floors in the Whisperwind Cove.
