Ranks in Battlefield Heroes were introduced in the Heroes of The Fall Update. Unlike other installments of the Battlefield Series, Ranks are titles awarded to players and are obtained based on damage dealt during a match and follow the general order of military ranks. The first rank players will receive is the rank of Private that runs to General. After obtaining the rank of General, once players have caused another 16,000 points of damage they gain a prestige level, which gives them the rank of Private II which then runs to General II. There are a total of one-hundred prestige levels.
