The Droid Assault Flyer, also known as the Mechanised Assault Flyer or MAF, is seen only in Star Wars: Battlefront 1, and it is arguably one of the better gunships. It has less armour than the Republic Assault Gunship but more powerful weapons. Like all SWBFI gunships it can hover and strafe, making it great to use on Bespin: Platforms, as it can hover over a Galactic Republic Command Post and destroy anyone spawning there.
