The RG670 features a light ash body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret Bolivian rosewood (rosewood after 1995) fingerboard with dot position makers. Components include Ibanez pickups, a low profile double locking tremolo bridge and a locking nut. The RG680 is a similar model with a basswood body and sharktooth fretboard inlays. The RG670 was available only in Japan and was discontinued after 1997.
