The 850 BC Atlantic hurricane season was an extremely active season, with the last known hypercane (Hypercane Forty-Four). According to estimates, this season is believed to have 67 named storms, at least one every month. Due to a lack of satellites, no imagery exists for any of the storms. The storms were not named.
