Shot Cancellation is a gameplay mechanic introduced in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It is the process of collision between two shots from opposing weapons, which determines what shots can cancel others out. If a weapon has a higher shot cancellation value than the opposing weapon, it will effectively destroy the enemy's shot. However, if their value is equal to one another, both shots will become nullified.
